This tutorial is a detailed walk through of the approach to creating a pill material within Substance Designer 2018. We will focus on layering objects while preventing clipping and exploring masking techniques for layering objects. We will also go over the process for creating height, color, AO, normal, roughness and opacity maps for this material. Please note this is not a tutorial created in real time, we will be looking at a previously made graph and how it was constructed.
